I've been out and about seeing the sights and sounds of this far away place. Can you guess where it is?

Is it Whitby? That looks a bit like the abbey in the distance. Wherever it was it looks great. Hope you enjoyed the sights.
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you back.
ReplyDeletelot of green in that photo... so probably NOT Mars...
Actually looks a lot like, but I don't think it IS, some of the islands on Lough Erne, where I holidayed as a kid.
Hey, welcome back Jarmara! I guess travelling is an excuse not to post. I guess that 'far away' is relative to where you started from...if I was to hazard a guess based on your photo: a castle or church along the English coast leading to a cliff, I would guess Whitby (Bram Stoker, and your like of horror, etc.)
ReplyDeleteNot a clue, but it's pretty.
ReplyDeleteGlad to you back. :)
Mmmm...it looks very much like the coastline of Cornwall. Are those tin mines I spy? xx
ReplyDeleteI love a good mystery! Great photo--I don't have a clue where that is...
ReplyDeleteHi Colette, Welcome back or should that be welcome out... You clever thing! right first time. It is indeed Whitby, North Yorkshire.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anton. No it isn't Mars. I haven't been on a plane yet so flying in a rocket is out of the question for me.
Hello Alan, It's lovely to know I was missed... You won’t believe who I saw at the abbey while I was there so I shall post a picture as prove...lol.
Hi Kat Thank you. I’ve many photographs to share with you once I get back into the swing of things.
Hello Akasha, Sorry, but it’s not Cornwall...
Hi SF, I too love mysteries..lol I’m glad you like the photo.
Definitely Whitby, I have so many happy memories of summers there. Fabulous beautiful and a little scary ( when ur five and your big brother tells you that a Monster lives in the abbey
